Egyptian mobile companies: 3 months minimum payment for the application via mobile

 

Mobile phone companies confirmed that activation of money transfer services via mobile need at least three months to start activating the services to take advantage of mobile networks and partnerships with banks operating in Egypt.

Said Khalid Hijazi, head of government relations Vodafone Egypt said the companies had not yet received official notification of the activation services, noting that it would not take any steps to begin to activate the service only after receiving formal notification and permission to start services.

He explained that the companies will not resort to new agreements with banks before you start activating existing partnerships, stressing that the success of the current experiment encourages companies to contract with three new banks to provide money transfer services through mobile Mobile payment.

The Vodafone contract with Housing and Development Bank to provide money transfer services through Mobile several years ago.
